Fixed Functional Skeletal Class II Correctors: A Review

The fixed or removable orthodontic appliances mostly use intrinsic force to move teeth. is exerted by the appliance and dissipated against teeth supporting structures. skeletal Class II correctors evolved from various modifications of original activator. These reposition mandible in downward forward direction, activating attached associated muscle. resultant thus created transmitted not only but also other structures maxilla mandible. Functional have been broadly divided into two categories functional appliances. Fixed are advised for non-compliant patients nearing growth completion.
